the frog zone #11: the what everything’s been up to recently special
hello. welcome to the frog zone. this issue, i’ll be retiring an old section (random item of the issue) and, in its stead, introducing a new section, titled “cool article of the issue”, showcasing an article (outside of wikipedia) i’ve read and found interesting. in addition, i’m going to link a google form at the end of each article that will always be open, where you can give me feedback, suggestions, or stories. besides that, you’ll find:
the super rich,
a video essay, and
two entire plugged things,
among other things.
today’s random camera roll find:
[image id: the side view of a mouse. end id.]
context: i was making a shirt design involving michael jackson’s face on mice. don’t ask.
here’s a wikipedia article about: the academy awards.
cool article of the issue: why the super rich are inevitable.
three youtube videos: clair de lune in everything everywhere all at once (spoilers!), aldioder kids (a pumped up kids comedy cover by a musician that sadly passed away recently), and drew gooden’s dopamine fast.
a song the zone vibes with:
a story from the zone: i recently got three new villagers on animal crossing! not much of a story, but it’s fun!
plugged stuff: this issue, i got a staggering number of two plugged things!
firstly, “the sexiest exco memebrr” of Project TheWriteChance has plugged their instagram account (found at @project.thewritechance, or here), which “advocates for greater exposure to literary arts among sg youths” (according to their instagram bio). you can support them by giving book reviews (sexiest exco member didn’t mention how, but i assume you can dm them and ask)!
secondly, “a friendly neighbourhood lyricist” has plugged @paro.dies__ on instagram (accessible here). it’s a page that includes “song parodies of all-time classics because i had nothing better to do with my free time! check it out for some laughs / cringes 🫂”, according to them. if you want to support them, you can “drop a follow and like/comment on the parodies you enjoyed 🫶”! as always, the link to plug your or your friends’ stuff is always open here :)
more links: a uquiz to find a picrew you should do (ultimate clicky clicky), the software airdorf used to create most of the voices from faith: the unholy trinity (don’t worry, nothing scary about the software!), and a game where you try to come up with as many words under a category as possible (against an asynchronous other player).
that’s all for this issue— sorry about the blocks of text under plugged stuff! if you want, be sure to give any feedback, stories, or suggestions you may have in this link (it’s always open)!
lotsa frogs, the frog zone
